Different products need genuinely different files. A design that stitches beautifully on a cotton tee will pucker on a piqué polo and collapse on a structured cap — same artwork, three separate builds.
So every embroidery digitizing job starts with four things from you: fabric, finished size, placement, and machine. Change any one of them and the density, underlay, and stitch sequencing change with it. Here's what we digitize, and what's different about each build.
Logo Digitizing
The bulk of what we do. We take your brand logo — vector, JPG, PNG, or a scan — and rebuild it stitch by stitch for the placement you need: left chest, sleeve, cap front, or jacket back. Brand colors mapped to real thread numbers from standard charts so what you approve is what stitches out.
Cap & Hat Digitizing
Caps are their own discipline. The file has to be sequenced center-out and bottom-up so the design doesn't drift as the frame rotates across a curved, unstable surface. Density and underlay are adjusted for structured, unstructured, and mesh-back panels separately.
3D Puff Digitizing
Capping stitches tight enough to seal the foam edge cleanly after tear-away, no fragments showing, column widths and stitch density set for your foam thickness and fabric, and fine detail kept flat where heavy puff would otherwise swallow it completely.
Applique Digitizing
Delivered as a properly separated three-part file: placement line, tack-down, then a satin or zigzag border, with the exact cut-file allowance your operator needs. Cuts stitch count and machine run time significantly on large flat fills — the whole reason applique exists.
Patch Digitizing
Built to the patch dimension and edge finish you're producing — merrowed, satin border, laser cut, or die cut — with the border allowance accounted for so the design sits correctly inside the finished edge. This connects to our own patch production, so file and product are built by the same team.
Vector Art & Raster to Vector
For screen printing, DTG, signage, and large-format print. We rebuild your artwork as clean scalable vector paths — real curves, not auto-trace noise — with text converted to outlines and spot colors separated cleanly, delivered as layered AI, EPS, PDF, and SVG files.

Have a file that breaks thread, registers off, or stitches too dense? Send it over. We'll tell you free of charge whether it's cheaper to fix or to rebuild from scratch — sometimes a re-digitize genuinely costs less than the repair.

Flat Rate by Design Size
Most customers prefer this. You know the cost before you send the file.

We digitize Monday to Friday. Turnaround times count business hours, so a design sent Friday evening is delivered Monday rather than over the weekend. If you have a Monday morning deadline, send it by Friday and it'll be waiting for you.

What Makes an Embroidery Digitizing File Run Clean on Your Machine
Every digitizer says "high quality." Here's specifically what we control, so you can hold us to it.
Pull and push compensation. Fabric distorts as the needle works. We widen columns and offset outlines against the direction of pull so circles come out round and outlines actually meet — the difference between a logo that looks like your logo and one that's noticeably off.
Underlay matched to the fabric. Edge run, zigzag, or full tatami depending on whether you're stitching twill, fleece, piqué, or performance knit. Wrong underlay is the single most common cause of puckering and of designs sinking into the pile.
Density set for the material, not a default. Too dense and you get needle breaks and a stiff board of a logo. Too open and the backing shows through. Set per fabric, every time.
Minimum sizes respected. Satin columns below roughly 1mm are converted to running stitch instead of piling thread. Small lettering is built at a height that stays legible after stitching rather than closing up into a blur — and if your text is too small to read at the requested size, we'll tell you before we build it, not after.
Trims and jumps cut down. Every unnecessary trim is a machine stop, an operator intervention, and a chance for the thread to break. Fewer color stops means faster run time on your floor.
Thread colors mapped to real charts. Your Pantone or brand colors converted to actual thread numbers from standard charts, listed in the color sequence so your operator isn't guessing.
Every file is sew-out tested before it reaches you. We stitch it on the fabric type you're running and look at the actual result, not the software preview. A render can look flawless while the file still puckers, registers off, or breaks thread on a real machine. Testing is the only way to know — which is why we can tell you a file will run rather than hope it does.

Vector (AI, EPS, PDF, SVG) is ideal. A clean high-resolution JPG, PNG, or scan works fine too. Also tell us the finished size in inches, the placement, the fabric, and your machine — those four details change how the file gets built.
How many revisions do I get?
Multiple, at no extra cost — resizing, thread color changes, small text corrections, format conversions. We keep revising until the file is right. Changes to the original artwork itself are a different job and quoted separately.
